My Before And After Pictures

The Ketogenic Diet is the diet the medical profession used to keep Type 1 Diabetics alive prior to the invention of insulin.  It is currently used to treat epileptic children who do not respond to seizure medications.  In October of 2017 I started a Ketogenic Diet.  Ive been part of the keto revolution and have lost 40 lbs in 7 months.  But Im not staying on this diet for the weight loss, listen to my video and find out how as either a type one or type 2 diabetic, you can improve your health markers without medication by EATING DELICIOUS FAT.

Want to learn more about the Ketogenic diet?  Try reading the following books.

Want some serious scientific evidence that this works?  Try the Virta study. “The average Virta patient in this trial had diabetes for 8 years and 30% of participants were prescribed insulin when they enrolled; 94% of insulin users were able to reduce or eliminate the medication and 60% of participants were able to reverse their type 2 diabetes at one year.”

Bye Bye 40+ LBS!

I am sharing anecdotal evidence that has helped me and some diabetics I know. If you are interested in a ketogenic diet, please make sure to find a Registered Dietician who is well-versed in ketogenic diets. Please be aware that while this diet regimen has been beneficial for me, it could be harmful for some health conditions and may not be suited to everyone. Make sure you speak to a doctor or dietitian that has experience in working with ketogenic diets to check it is an appropriate diet for you. I think I am going to give this Keto diet a try.

I also want to thank you for the tips to tighten up my Schnauzer. She was doing great on the highs. But she wouldn’t alert on the lows until I was in trouble. When I talked to you, you said she needed to catch it better. But when you said she wasn’t picking up the scent it dawned on me it was like my search and rescue dog. Now she never misses an alert. Now she is ten years old and working great. She now alerts when I am in the seventies but she now knows the scent as it is dropping. Many times I am in the seventies but she doesn’t alert. She knows when it is dropping and soon it will be in the sixties.

I don’t think I will need help training my next service dog. Here I have trained 3 search and rescue and it didn’t dawn on me until you said scent. I guess that is what happens as I am getting older. I have no idea who trained her, but I was lucky to rescue her. She has been a great dog. I have no idea how she ended up in a kill shelter.
